A Return Visit to Train Train

We went to Train Train for dinner, a place I had visited before.

The exterior of Train Train

The exterior has a calm, understated feel, but once I stepped inside, it was bustling with diners.

With its lovely atmosphere and delicious food, it has completely become one of my favorite restaurants. This time too, I enjoyed plenty of excellent dishes.

They also have a great wine selection, and if you tell them what you like, they bring out two bottle options for you to choose from.

Being able to choose for myself is part of what makes the experience even more satisfying, I think.

If I have the chance to visit Kyoto again, this is definitely a place I’d love to return to.
