At sequence KYOTO GOJO, the breakfast you can eat as many times as you like until checkout is apparently very popular, but this time I decided to eat out instead. (I wanted to go sightseeing, and I wasn’t going to eat breakfast over and over anyway.)
So I headed to Takagi Coffee, just a short walk away.
For some reason, there was a Baron figurine inside the shop
I ordered their “famous Rich Morning” set here. Along with a piping-hot cup of coffee…
there was a plate with toast, eggs, and sausage!
You can choose butter, jam, or cinnamon for the toast. Why does thick-cut toast at a classic coffee shop always taste so good? Thanks for the meal!

Since checkout wasn’t until 14:00, after breakfast I left my luggage at the hotel and headed out sightseeing.
