Feeling the power of Club Harie and Taneya
Taneya Himure no Ya
Across from Club Harie Himure-kan is its parent shop, Taneya Himure no Ya. This really is Omihachiman, the home turf of the Taneya Group.
Since it has a fairly spacious dining area, I decided to take a break here. Near the entrance, you can watch "Tsubura Mochi" being grilled one after another.

I was shown to a seat around a large irori hearth.

The people sitting across from me had a slightly odd vibe, but putting that aside, I went ahead and tried the "Tsubura Mochi" I had just seen. To drink, I ordered the "An Coffee."

It came with brown sugar-flavored red bean paste that you dissolve into the coffee. The freshly made Tsubura Mochi was especially delicious, and the atmosphere inside was wonderful.
