Browsing Shops for Japanese Tableware

There were plenty of other lovely shops around the area too, so I wandered in and out of all sorts of places.

At Torinoko, I bought a cup that works well as a soba choko. They had lots of other things too, and it was very much my kind of shop.

At the Matsumoto Mingei Furniture Central Mingei Showroom, I looked at Matsumoto mingei furniture and ended up impulsively buying a tote bag featuring a pattern designed by Samiro Yunoki. The stork design was just too cute.

At the end of my shop-hopping, I also got to see the sign for Metoba Soba, designed by Taro Maruyama, who founded the Matsumoto Folkcraft Museum.
