Surrounded by Arita ware…
Lunch at Gallery Arita
After leaving Arita Porcelain Park, the next place I headed to was Gallery Arita.
This is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy a meal surrounded by Arita ware. I arrived a little early, so I just barely managed to get seated without having to wait.
I ordered the "Arita specialty Gotofu set meal." Since the dishes were also made of Arita ware, the whole tray felt surprisingly heavy, haha.
I’d been eating a bit too much for several days in a row, so I was happy to have something healthy with tofu as the main ingredient.
After the meal, even the tea was of course served in Arita ware. There were lots of tableware pieces lined up inside the shop, and you can choose one to use.
Still, I was a little nervous about picking one out and taking it down myself, so I left it to the staff, haha.
