Lunch at a Nearby Guesthouse

By the time I finished looking around the museum, it was completely lunchtime, so I decided to find something nearby. While walking around, I came across lunch at the guesthouse Kyoto Matsuya.

I really enjoyed the lunch—it had the feel of comforting home cooking. What surprised me was that the miso soup had sansho in it! It was my first time trying miso soup with sansho, but of course it was delicious. I’m going to try making it at home next time. To be continued…
