Mifuneyama Rakuen Is Wonderful in the Daytime Too
Returning to the Garden After the Nighttime Visit
After checking out of the hotel, I took a walk through Mifuneyama Rakuen, where I had seen the teamLab installation the night before. Hotel guests can enter free of charge.
The pond that had been illuminated the night before had a completely different atmosphere at this time of day. More than anything, I felt the surrounding mountains created a spectacular landscape, making this a truly magnificent garden.
There are many small projector huts around the pond that had been used to cast light onto the water.
A Garden Set Against Majestic Mountains
Farther into the garden, there is an azalea garden. The view here is beautiful as well, and I heard that depending on the season, the azaleas and cherry blossoms bloom here.
This visit was completely in the off-season, but I still enjoyed it more than enough.
