EXPO ’70 Pavilion

Expo ’70 Commemorative Park has other attractions besides the National Museum of Ethnology. One of them is the EXPO ’70 Pavilion.

The building has been preserved just as it was as a World Expo pavilion.

Inside are various exhibits about Expo ’70 in Osaka, including pictograms from the time.

The photos show my particular favorites: the escalator and the monorail.

The theater that was used in the pavilion at the time still remains. Unfortunately, though, you can’t go inside it…
