Yakiniku for a Night in Hakata
The Friend Who Came All the Way from Hong Kong to Grill Meat
My Hakata trip was finally reaching its climax when a special guest arrived from Hong Kong: Kojipuu. We met up at the cafe in the Hyatt Regency Fukuoka, and then headed to
Tagyu, a famous yakiniku restaurant
that Hisa had booked for us. Even when we were still quite far from the place, I could already smell meat grilling in the air… And then we finally made it to Tagyu.

We waited just a little outside before going in. Since it wasn’t a smoke-free yakiniku place, we put all our coats and bags into plastic bags for protection. And then the meat feast began!!!

That sizzling sound was the best.

Can this really be kalbi!?!

I got so absorbed in eating that I didn’t take a single photo of the grilled meat… lol. We finished with ice cream for a refreshing dessert.

It was delicious, and even though we ate a lot, I was surprised by how inexpensive it was. Thanks for the meal.
