A Little Sightseeing in Kobe
Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum by Takenaka Corporation
I also stopped by the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum, operated by Takenaka Corporation, just a short walk from Shin-Kobe Station on the Shinkansen. As the name suggests, it has a huge collection of carpenters’ tools.

There were also exhibits on wooden construction techniques and models of wood joinery, and this is what it looks like at first…

And then it turns into this!!!

It felt like a 3D puzzle. The people who came up with things like this are truly amazing… There was a lot to see, and I found it really fascinating.

I’d definitely recommend it if you’re using Shin-Kobe Station on the Shinkansen.
After this, I headed back to Tokyo by Shinkansen. And that’s the end of my 1-night, 2-day Kobe travel diary.
