From Haneda to Fukuoka

Taking the Nanakuma Line to the Hotel

The flight from Haneda to Fukuoka went by in no time. Once I arrived in Fukuoka, I headed straight to the hotel first.

I took the newly opened Nanakuma subway line and noticed how cute the signage was.

A One-Night Stay at Cross Life Hakata Tenjin!

An Interior Filled with Art

This time, I stayed at Cross Life Hakata Tenjin. It is operated by the ORIX Group. The interior is decorated with contemporary art inspired by traditional Japanese culture.

There was also wall art inspired by Hakata Gion Yamakasa.

An “Adjoining Room” That Uses Two Guest Rooms

This time, I stayed in an “adjoining room.” It combines one room with two single beds and another room with one double bed.

Each room had its own toilet and shower booth, so I think they can also be used as separate rooms when they are not booked together.

The room with the two single beds felt spacious, and even the bathroom area was stylish.

The toilet was completely separate from the shower booth.

Meanwhile, the room with one double bed had the feel of a slightly more spacious business hotel room and was designed compactly.

There was a sink directly in front of the toilet. If you open the door farther in, there is a shower booth with a rain shower.

I should add that I didn’t use the shower booth since the hotel has a large public bath!

Time at the Hotel, Then On to the Next Destination

A Bath After Coming Back

After enjoying dinner, I returned to the hotel and used the large public bath. It had illumination-like art, which made it a very unique space.

Breakfast, Then Check-Out

The next morning, I had breakfast at the breakfast venue on the first floor. It was crowded, and I had to wait a little. The croissants were especially popular, and the side dishes gave me the impression that many were pre-made, haha.

And with that, my one-night stay in Fukuoka came to an end.
