A Night of Enjoying Hakata’s Food!
Mizutaki at Hakata Mizutaki Specialty Tachibana
After a short walk, we headed to our second stop of the night: Hakata Mizutaki Specialty Tachibana.

When I was a child, there was a time when I didn’t really understand what mizutaki was and mistakenly thought it was a dish with no flavor (lol).
Since I was going to Hakata, I really wanted to try authentic mizutaki, so I made a reservation here.
The interior was clean, and I was shown to a table at the very back. When I sat down, the soup and chicken were already set on the burner.

The meal begins with a sip of this soup.

The staff handled all the cooking and plating, and the first thing I ate was the chicken. One piece was drumstick meat, springy and full of flavor.

Partway through, I also had some fried chicken. It was a time to simply enjoy chicken in every form.

Later on, the chicken meatballs the staff prepared were also very delicious and especially memorable.

To finish, they made zosui with the remaining broth as an extra order.
