From Nara to Kyoto
Kyoto Ramen at Shinpuku Saikan
We headed to Kyoto for a meal and some shopping before going home. For food, we went to Shinpuku Saikan, just steps from Kyoto Station. It was my first time trying Kyoto ramen.
There was a decent line, but compared with the place next door, it looked manageable, so we decided to queue up.
I was surprised by how much darker the ramen looked than I had imagined, but it was far lighter than it looked and really tasty.
Since we were there, we ordered fried rice too. That was delicious as well!!
