Last Stop: Hiroshima Castle
The Main Keep Was About to Close
The final stop on my Hiroshima trip was Hiroshima Castle.
Hiroshima Castle was originally a reconstructed castle, but its main keep is also being closed due to aging. Maybe because it was just before the closure, it was quite crowded, and it took a little while to get inside.
I heard they plan to rebuild it in wood in the future, but when I think about how much time and money that would take, it seems like quite an undertaking.
