Arriving at Hiroshima Station
The New Streetcar Platform Is Incredible!
I took the Shinkansen from Yamaguchi and arrived in Hiroshima. The station building at Hiroshima Station finished its rebuilding last year, and now the streetcar platform extends right into the building itself.
It’s a very stylish space, but it didn’t seem to have much capacity for the number of users, so it was extremely crowded.
Looking down from above, the line of passengers probably heading toward Miyajima looked absolutely enormous.
I found myself wondering whether regular users will be okay. It’s probably an unnecessary thing to worry about, but I couldn’t help it.
