A Huge, Bubble-Era Building After Lunch
Since I still had some time before my return bus, I decided to take a walk around the area.
Right next door is Motomachi Credo, a vast complex of shops and a hotel.
The commercial side of the complex was once used as a new wing of Sogo, but after the store closed, most of it seemed to have become vacant floor space.
Inside, things like the lavish, bubble-era-style escalators with water flowing alongside them were still there, and the building itself had lost none of its glamour.
